Cover Reveal: The Glow of Fallen Stars by Kate Ling (Ventura Saga Book 2)

My number one book of 2016 was Kate Ling’s incredible debut The Loneliness of Distant Beings, which is why I am so, so excited to be bringing you the cover reveal of its sequel today.

When I read The Loneliness of Distant Beings last year, it didn’t take me long to realise that this was going to become one of my all-time favourite YA novels. I described it as “a book I wish I had written.”

Full to the brim with space, dystopia and forbidden romance, mixed with a deep and meaningful message about mental health, I fell head-over-heels for this story.

Originally, I didn’t know I was going to get to spend more time with it Seren, Ezra, Dom and Marianne. I thought it was a one off, so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered that a book two was on its way. And now I get to be the one to reveal the cover to you all! YAY. I’m sure you’re going to agree that it is just gorgeous too. I’ve also got the blurb and release date to share with you, but before I do I need to warn you that there are spoilers for book one ahead. If you haven’t read it, you can buy it right now from Amazon here.

If you have, be prepared to be longing for book two!

Tada! Here’s the cover for The Glow of Fallen Stars! Isn’t it just beautiful? I actually gasped when I saw it for the first time yesterday. It’s by the amazing designer Sophie Burdess.

And if you’re wondering what that stunning cover holds within it, read on for the blurb:

The Glow of Fallen Stars Blurb

A love story from the deepest reaches of our universe.

‘I longed so hard for all the things that make life life, and I never thought they’d be mine. But now… now they are. Now I have something to lose.’

Seren and Dom have fled their old lives on board spaceship Ventura in order to be together. They crash-land on a beautiful, uninhabited planet, which at first seems like paradise.

There is no one to answer to… but no one to ask for help. And with each new day comes the realisation of how vulnerable they truly are.

This planet has secrets – lots of them. Uncovering them could be the key to survival, but at what cost?

The follow-up to The Loneliness of Distant Beings, Kate Ling’s second book takes us on an incredible journey through love, loss and the strength of the human spirit.

Pre-order The Glow of Fallen Stars
