I feel a bit weird about calling this post an Autumn favourites. I’m not ready to say goodbye to Summer just yet! But looking outside at the brown leaves scattered across the garden I’m not sure how much longer I can deny it.
I had an amazing Summer, though. SO much happened. My besties got married, I’m now 26 years old, and it feels pretty weird to be officially closer to 30 than to my teenage years. But I’m excited, because there’s so much great stuff going on and I’m feeling really inspired lately. I’ve been loving lots lately, too, so here are some of my top picks.
Please excuse the lack of photography here guys, but I figured a blog post without original photos is better than no blog post at all! More to come soon, photos and all! 🙂
Autumn favourites: Seventeen Eye Eye Crayon – Iced
In August I was lucky enough to be able to attend an awesome event hosted by the Seventeen Blogger Network. I’ve got lots to share with you in an upcoming post, but for now I’ll share my favourite product that I’ve now become obsessed with (and it’s only £3.99).
The Eye Eye Crayon, which I’ve got in the shade Iced but also comes in other colours, is so perfect for the inner corners of your eye, to brighten them up and make your eyes look huge. You only need a tiny bit in the very corner and under bottom eyelashes but the impact is amazing. I’ll be wearing this on my wedding day (I’m now doing my own makeup, but more on that in another post soon).

Autumn Favourites: No 7 Colour Match Foundation & Concealer
I’ve been trying lots of the No 7 products after taking advantage of the amazing matching service they offer, and I’ve become completely besotted by their Stay Perfect foundation, concealer and finishing powder. Not only does it match my skin brilliantly thanks to the colour match service they provide, it also lasts all day and stays smooth and flawless. It’s the nicest foundation I’ve come across so far.
Stay Perfect Foundation – £14.50, Boots.
Instant Radiance Under Eye Concealer – £13.50, Boots.
Perfect Light Pressed Powder – £11.50, Boots.
Autumn Favourites: iZombie
Ryan and I have been loving iZombie, a fun but captivating American TV show about a zombie that helps solves murders. The first two seasons are on Netflix and we’ve just finished them. Of course it ended on a huge cliffhanger but I cannot wait to watch season three. The characters in this show are SO brilliant, some of my favourite TV characters ever. Ravi is my fave.
Autumn Favourites: Simply Abbi & LPage Beauty
At the Seventeen event I mentioned earlier, I met two gorgeous girlies who are also bloggers. So of course, when I got home I proceeded to check out their blogs and I was blown away. Both are stunning, and brilliantly well written with reviews, inspiration, tips and more.
Abbi’s blog, Simply Abbi, is brilliant for anyone starting uni this year or going back for another year. She covers student lifestyle in addition to fashion, travel, beauty and more.
LPage Beauty, written by the lovely Leanne, focuses on Beauty, with reviews and round-ups of pretty much every kind of beauty product you can think of. She really knows her stuff and I particularly like her amazing swatches.
Autumn Favourites: Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children
I’ve been meaning to pick up this book for ages but the cover is just so creepy that I kept getting put off! But I finally got stuck in and completely fell in love with it. It’s soon to be a movie, too, so I’m looking forward to watching that. Head over to Ashleigh Online for more book recommendations and reviews.
